The Borgata Poker Open 2007 has come to an end but of course it was not without a bang. Going into the six person final table there was nothing but pure talent filling the seats including famous face Mike Matusow, who finished in a disappointing sixth place. Others at the table were Heung “Scott” Yoon, Roy Winston, Haralabos Voulgaris, Mark Weitzman, and Eugene Todd.
But only one doctor of poker, and real life doctor, reined supreme. Roy Winston came out on top of this tier one battle. Walking away with over 1.5 million dollar it was all in a few days work. When it came down to a heads up battle it took 84 hands to decide the outcome of the showdown between experienced player Winston and Heung Yoon. The patience paid off when the final hand, a classic battle, came down to A-K versus 4-4. Yoon drew dead and Dr. Winston took the title home.
